Time 4 Salted Caramel Monkey Bread

Ingredients

To make this High Protein Salted Caramel Monkey Bread recipe, you will need:


¾ cup Plain Flour
2 scoops Time 4 Whey Protein Professional Salted Caramel Flavour
1 tsp baking powder
¾ cup non-fat Greek yogurt
1/3 tbsp unsweetened Almond Milk


CINNAMON SUGAR COATING
2 tsp melted butter
1 ½ tbsp icing sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon

Method

Preheat oven to 350F and grease 6 cups of a muffin pan or 1 cake tin
In a large bowl, combine flour, Time 4 Whey Protein Professional Salted Caramel and baking powder
Add yogurt and milk and mix until combined to form a shaggy, sticky dough ball; stop as soon as ball forms
DO NOT OVER-MIX or the protein powder will make the bread balls tough.
Slightly wet your palms, divide dough into 18 pieces (1/2 tbsp size), or leave as 1 large ball
The dough will be sticky!


CINNAMON SUGAR COATING
Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl if not already melted
In a small shallow bowl, combine icing sugar and cinnamon
Roll a dough ball in melted butter then in cinnamon sugar mixture and place in muffin pan 3 balls per cup, (or cover large dough ball in the butter then sugar mixture and place in a cake tin)
Bake for 15-20 mins until outside and centre (dough ball intersection) is dry
(Toothpick inserted into muffin should come out clean)

Icing
Coconut pieces
Chocolate chips


STORAGE
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.
