Time 4 Salted Caramel Apple & Peanut Butter Protein Bites

To make this Salted Caramel Apple & Peanut Butter Protein Bites recipe, you will need:

1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
2 apples
1 scoop of Time 4 Whey Protein Professional Salted Caramel Flavour
¼ cup honey
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 tbsp caramel sauce
1 tbsp water
1 cup chocolate chips
2 tsp coconut oil


Lay out a baking tray and line with parchment paper
Slice apples horizontally into 4 slices, removing both ends and the core and place to one side
In a medium bowl, mix the peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract until smooth
In the same bowl add caramel sauce, Salted Caramel Whey Protein and water and stir until all ingredients are fully combined
Using about 1 tbsp of the mixture (depending on the size of your slices) place the mixture on the top of your apple slice and push down gently until fully covered and repeat until all slices have a layer
Place tray in the fridge for 15 minutes allowing the mixture to stiffen up.
In a separate bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil together in the microwave in 15 second increments until smooth and glossy (or use the double boil method)
Remove apple slices from the fridge and using a brush, coat the top side of the apple slices with chocolate making sure to cover the side as well and place back in the fridge for 20 minutes. (Do not throw away remaining chocolate as you still need this)
After the 20 minutes have passed remove your apples slices from the fridge and turn over
Warm your chocolate again and continue to brush the bottom of the apples
Once fully coated place back in the fridge for 15minutes to harden the chocolate before serving

Refrigeration Time: 55 mins
