Time 4 Vanilla Ice Cream Yaniqueques Protein Snack

Ingredients

To make this Vanilla Ice Cream Yaniqueques High Protein Snack recipe, you will need:


1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 scoop Time 4 Whey Protein Professional Vanilla Ice Cream Flavour
¼ tsp Baking Powder
¼ tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp salt
¼ cup water
3 tbsp vegetable oil

Method

Mix the flour, protein powder and baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt together in a bowl and mix
Add the water and oil to the flour mix and combine
Remove the dough mix from the bowl and work the dough into a a ball on a lightly floured surface until everything is well mixed, (you may need to add some flour if it is too sticky or a little water if to dry)
Wrapped your ball of dough in cling film and let rest for 10 mins
Divide the dough into 8 portions and extend each with a rolling pin on a lightly floured surface until it is very thin, nearly translucent
Cut your rolled out portions in to circles the circumference of a pint glass (drinking end)
Heat oil over medium-high heat, 300-350 F
Fry your circles of dough around 20 seconds each side until they turn golden on both sides then rest on a paper towel to absorb excess oil
Finish with your favourite topping once Yaniqueques have cooled then serve
