Time 4 Blue Raspberry Ripple Protein Flapjacks
To make this amazing Blue Raspberry Ripple Protein Flapjacks, you will need:
Place butter into saucepan and gently heat, once started to heat remove from heat and continue to stir using residual heat from pan pan finish melting.
Now add the sugar and stir add back to heat if necessary to keep mixture fluid and stir until sugar has completely dissolved into the butter.
Take off heat and add syrup and stir until today mixed with the butter/sugar mixture.
Add half of the oats and stir in vigorously, once oats are totally saturated add the remaining half and stir again remembering to scrape the edges so mixture is consistent.
Add 1 scoop of Raspberry Ripple whey protein powder and stir in vigorously, don't don't it stirs in extremely easy and dissolves unto the better brilliantly. Repeat again with a second scoop.
Here chop up 2 blue raspberry cables into small pieces and mix into the mixture but this part is purely down to taste, I am partial to the tuck shop haha.
Pre heat oven to 180degrees, I always wait until my mixture is ready before turning the oven on as I find those few minutes of waiting help the butter syrup really saturate the oats.
Place mixture into a tray that suits your needs, if you only have a shallow tray the mixture rolls hold on a baking tray.
Bake for 17-23 minutes dependent on how thick your tray is. The pictured example took 17 minutes for reference, you are looking for the corners and along the edges to have started to go golden.
Remove from oven taking care as as tray and bake wil be extremely hot. You should be able to score lines for slicing later with a knife without it squashing the flapjack around, if you can't leave a straight line indentation you need a few moments longer in the oven.
Put into fridge for 10 minutes to remove to cut and enjoy warm or 20 minutes to slice cold and store.
