Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine)

Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) is a group of closely related chemical compounds with related names (Pyridoxine, Pyridoxal and Pyridoxamine), which cannot be produced by the body, so must be obtained from our diet or supplements. The Vitamin B6 group is especially important for the function of the central nervous system, skin, and blood. It also plays an important role in sleep by converting the Amino Acid Tryptophan into Serotonin, a neurotransmitter that helps regulate levels of the sleep hormone Melatonin.
