Theacrine

Theacrine is a naturally occurring substance found in certain plants, with high levels present in the leaf of the wild tea plant species Camellia kucha Hung T. Chang. It is considered to be a structurally modified version of caffeine, as it appears to be synthesized from caffeine in some plants and evidence suggests that it activates similar signalling pathways. Supplementation with theacrine has been shown to enhance fat metabolism, motivation, energy, alertness, focus, and time to exhaustion, and reduce lethargy, fatigue and grogginess.
