is the hydrochloride salt form of pyridoxine, more commonly known as vitamin B6. It plays an important role in energy production, the immune system, the metabolism of protein and glycogen, regulation of hormonal activity, function of the nervous system, formation of red blood cells and the metabolism and transport of iron.
