Horse tail (Equisetum arvense)

Horse tail is a perennial plant that is found in or near watery areas such as marshes, streams, or rivers. It grows in the northern hemisphere areas of Asia, Europe, North America, and North Africa, where it has been traditionally been used as a diuretic.  It has also been used as a remedy for bleeding and healing ulceration and for its powerful effect on connective tissue, particularly for the bladder and in restoring the lungs.
