Docosahexaenoic Acid is a form of omega 3 fatty acid that is found in high levels in fish oil. It is considered to be a ‘very long-chain’ (VLC) omega-3 because it contains 22 carbons. DHA  is a primary structural component of the human brain, cerebral cortex, skin, and retina and plays various important roles in the body, such as aiding circulation and maintaining healthy blood pressure.
