Biography

I’ve been training for about 20 years now but never really knew what I was up to or why I was doing certain things, it was more for fun. In the past couple of years I stepped up my training and got my nutrition and diet on track, I then began to see big changes. This gave me the motivation to push myself further and last year I decided I was going to compete in the UKBFF. I made contact with Rob Whitfield (Team LRF), he put a diet and training plan in place and we have been working together ever since.

ARE THERE ANY SUPERSTITIOUS HABITS YOU HAVE BEFORE GOING ON STAGE?

Don’t start pumping up too early, leave it to the last minute. I see people pumping up for 45 mins backstage but for me, 5 - 10 mins before getting on stage works fine. I’ll also chuck in a couple of tablespoons of jam as well.

WHAT GYM DO YOU TRAIN OUT OF?

Horizon Waterlooville and Horizon Havant

WHAT METHODS DO YOU USE TO TAKE OFF THE LAST BIT OF WEIGHT TO MAKE YOUR WEIGHT LIMIT

Time 4 Water-loss really does help with this.

WHO IS YOUR INSPIRATION?

For me my inspiration comes from my team mates and coach (Rob Whitfield). Seeing all of them doing so well and consistently bringing trophies home is what pushes me to keep up. We have an amazing team of athletes and am looking forward to the 2018/2019 season.

WHAT ARE YOUR FUTURE GOALS IN YOUR BODYBUILDING/FITNESS CAREER?

I am currently in off-season and looking to push up to the Under 90kg category next season. Last season I competed in the under 80kg class and weighed in at 79.9kg so with any more muscle mass I will be too heavy to get into the same category. It’s time to eat lots of food and train hard! My goal is to finish in the top 3 at the British Championships and top 10 at the Arnold Classics.
